I was married last spring at Barr Mansion and have several things that I've been meaning to unload (updated 5/31):
LINENS: (1) Square Ottoman Cover: 4ft x 4ft, white, with subtle striping: $15 I bought this from Marquee Events during their moving sale last year. We built our own ottoman for less than $20 and saved $ on something that we used for approximately 45 minutes during the cocktail hour! It’s in relatively good shape, with just a few imperfections here and there. I can’t find any noticeable stains but there is one small snag/rough spot (approximately 1”) on the fabric located near a bottom side panel. Here are some close-ups of the fabric and the rough spot: When used, the cover looks like this: http://www.marqueerents.com/index.php?crn=553&rn=1624&action=show_detail (6) Cocktail Table Linens – 120”, pale pink/blush, $25 for all 6 These were also bought at the Marquee sale. We used them for both tall & seated cocktail tables. They will need to be steamed and I found what looks like drink ring stains on three of them. They can be dry cleaned or used with an overlay. Unfortunately, I can’t find a very good close up pic of the tables, but here’s my attempt at a close up of the fabric and a pic of the tables during the event:
DECOR: (4) Iron Metal Lanterns; $8 apiece I bought these at Pier One, used only for the wedding. A couple of them have some residual wax on the inside that can be easily cleaned off. Same lantern seen here, but in brown, not black (small lantern): http://www.pier1.com/Catalog/Seasonal/tabid/975/CategoryId/92/ProductId/6727/ProductName/Black-Metal-Lanterns/Default.aspx (~30-40) Assorted Glassware – mason jars, colored jars/votive holders in pink, green, yellow, $15 for the whole assortment ------ SOLD I have a mix of glassware that we used for our reception tables. It includes an assortment of mason jars in different sizes and things we picked up at thrift stores and Michaels. (7) Muslin Runners – approximately 10’ ft x 6” each –FREE----SOLD These are simple strips of muslin that we used as table runners for six of our 8’ banquet tables. We frayed the sides for a rustic look. The runners, glassware and lanterns during the reception:
 (1) Iron Birdcage (used as a card holder) – brown iron, $5 ----SOLD Top lifts up for easy card storage. (1) Table Number Holder – $10 ---- SOLD My husband made this based on something I saw on a wedding blog. It worked with the rest of our rustic, organic décor. We affixed the table seating charts to the chicken wire with tiny clothespins that we purchased at Michaels. The bottom part has enough room to place several flower pots. DIY (1) Gocco PG-10 - $200 We made all of our own paper products with this guy. Comes with everything you need, including four master screens and an assortment of 13 inks. I can share some photos of our invitations/Gocco if you’re interested, as well as some tips on how to make the process easier. We had a lot of fun making our own paper goodies and saved some money in doing so. Please mail if interested: vbmorales AT gmail. I'm happy to share more pics or information. Thanks! -Vanessa
