In the last couple of weeks we FINALLY got our engagment pics done, and this past weekend we got our registries set up and pretty well filled out. In both instances FI was really dreading the events. He hates having his picture taken and he feels like registries are selfish. However, in both instances he ended up having a lot of fun. At the epics he even started making suggestions for places to pose and poses to be in, and while we were registering he actually had a lot of opinions and was really excited about some things that completely took me by surprise...like crystal. He REALLY likes the crystal we chose and in fact did NOT like the crystal I had chosen ahead of time because it was so simple. He wanted something with more etching and he ended up selecting it really. These were the two engagment activities I was looking forward to the most and the two he was most dreading. Thankfully we had a great time at each. Yay! Just wanted to share. :)

We registered at BBB and Dillard's. I think Macy's would have been easier for our northern family, but he just likes Dillards better so we went with them. It was fun at first and then to be honest it got a little exhausting. We're not done yet but we've made a lot of headway. Where are you registered?

We registered at BBB and the lady would not relinquish the gun!
Things went a lot faster once she did...almost 2 hours later!

Ha! Our guy kept the gun while we were doing fine china/flatware/and crystal. Which I was very happy about. It eliminated the shock of my FI realizing we were registering for 12 of everything. :) We took it from him after that and he didn't blink. Which BBB were you at?
