After dating 8 years we are finally tying the knot! We are looking for a venue near 59 and beltway 8 so it can be fair distance for both families. About 250 ppl with a 12-14k budget for whole wedding. I waited for this day for so long so I really want a beautiful venue. Any help we would appreciate!

have you looked into the petroleum club? you would prob be close to 12k for food and drink minimum for that amount of people there.its a beautiful place

Petroleum club is beautiful but also a very popular venue. Unless you are super lucky and someone canceled, the place will be booked. I looked into it 15 months before my wedding, and they were booked solid into november 2012.

You could try sweet water or sugar creek country clubs in sugar land. There's also signature manor or Briscoe manor. I've never been to those places, nor do I know the prices, but they are fairly close to your desired location. Regardless, you need to look now!

We are using Signature Manor for 250 people on a Saturday and it is costing $25,000. Maybe if you have your reception on a Friday or Sunday you can stay within budget.

For your guest count, I think you will need a place that will let you bring your own alcohol (if your serving that). to stay within budget. These places mark up on drinks is crazy!
