i think the rule of thumb is that if the vendor owns the business (like a florist or a photographer) then you don't tip - but if the photographer has an assistant, tip the assistant. Other people to think about: if you have chair or linen rentals - the delivery person. If the florist isn't delivering the arrangements herself, then the delivery person.

I never knew that the DJ got a tip. I thought tipping was based on appreciation & anyone who went above & beyond in making your day memorable. Wonder if that is correct or you have to tip everyone regardless?
