no there is not a waiting period. but it does expire if you don't use it within a certain period. there is a waiting period if you are under 18 though.I can't remember when it expires i got mine twenty something days until and i was good. I was thinking either 30 or 60 days. i just got married in august 2011 so this should still be true.

I'm pretty sure it expires after 60 days.

Go to the website for your county's courthouse. I know that in Wood County there is no waiting period, but you must be married within 60 days.
