Hi Everyone!

I am getting married this September and still don't have a ceremony location! AH! What we want is to have our ceremony next to a lake or river that is no more than 20 min from Wisconsin Dells. Does anyone know of any place?

How many guests are you expecting? Do you have a reception location chosen already?

FI and I considered the Dells as a wedding location. That's where we met almost 4 years ago! Never underestimate the power of a vacation ;)

Devil's Lake has pavilions you can rent. There is also a place called the White Rose Inn (or something similar) that is on the river.

I've been looking to book there as well. We haven't booked anything yet, but we're looking for August, so I know how you feel! I don't know if you're looking for ceremony and reception, but here's what I've found.

I've been super impressed with Wilderness on the Lake (they have quite a few venues, like Glacier Canyon Lodge and their Wilderness Room). I've only seen outstanding reviews about them, and Jennifer has been great for questions so far.

Other places I've looked is Devil's Head. I know many have been there and found it was beautiful. Chula Vista, Wintergreen, and Spring Brook are also some pretty ones. We, too, wanted the lakeside/outdoor wedding, and they all have ceremony sites as well as reception places. Some have a wooded area but no lake, but I know some have a lake. Most emailed back quite quickly with information.

Hope some of this helps! If anyone has more ideas, I'm in a similar situation and would love to hear some as well! :)
