We are looking for a hotel to stay at for the night of our wedding. Nothing too expensive. Any suggestions on any good places in the Milwaukee area?? We looked at the honeymoon night package at the Iron Horse Hotel, but it's pretty pricey!!

I considered staying at The Sheridan Boutique Hotel (CLICK HERE.) We ended up cutting that out of our budget, so I can't give you any reviews.

We are staying at the Aloft Hotel, as our all of our guests that need a hotel. It is reasonably priced and the wedding sales coordinator has been super helpful.

you might want to sign up for groupon/livingsocial... you will need to wait till about 3-4 months before the wedding, but they always have great deals on some of the top hotels. This past week was the ambassator, it came with some perks for $85.

And don't ask for a honeymoon package - they are likely to jack up the rate.

Metro is fabulous or you could try County Claire.

We've stayed at Aloft in downtown Milwaukee 3 times now - not super fancy or anything, but definitely nice for the price! I'd also keep an eye out for groupon/livingsocial deals, too
