So, my fiance and I are planning a very glamourous wedding that is full of drama! It is being held at a theater at Motor City Casino...Now, originally, because I am a COUNTRY girl through and through, I wanted that to be incorporated into a theme, but was also very accepting of the "theme" we have now. I wanted some way to incorporate my roots into the wedding, but dont want to incorporate anything too kitchy or cheesy...so I was wondering if there was a way that I could do a favor that would somehow incorporate my roots into the wedding, without it seeming out of place?

Food is always good :-) Is there a special kind of cookie or pastry that you could make or buy? Or candy (like those Rock Candy Sugar sticks maybe?)

I think it would really help if you narrowed the style of "country" you want to encorporate. When you think "country" what is it that you mean?

This. Also, maybe you can find a special ::thing:: (rx: Georgia-Peanuts) about your area and include it? It really does depend on the kind of country you are referring to and maybe the geo area or state.

i feel like a favor is not a good way to communicate to your guests that you are country.why not play country music or wear your boots under your dress so they can dirrectly associate it with you. or find a way to incorporate it with whatever your theme is. i have a million ideas for that. if you are 'country through and through' then why do you want your wedding theme to not incorporate any of that? i guess i just can't think of anything that your guests would want to take home that incorporates you and being country that would make sense to them haha. like maybe whatever kind of favor you choose you could incorporate using camo ribbon for? idk

This is a GREAT idea! we have found a baker to make personal "georgia peach pies" that the guests can take home! thanks for the food idea!
