Mr wedding theme is tropical/beach. The kids that are coming are recieving chocolate shaped seashells and for the adults I was thinking of a wine stopper (ceramic seahorse). But i am not sure if that

As an adult, I would rather get the choclate seashell.....I have absolutely no use for one wine stopper that will rattle around my crammed kitchen drawer until I decide to throw it away. So I'd probably leave the wine stopper and bully some little kid for his chocolate seashell :-) Kidding. But seriously, edible favors usually go over better.

I agree, edible is the best route. You could just do the chocolate shaped seashells for everyone which would make it easier than having different favors for the kids and adults too.

While I love wine, a ceramic seahorse seems little creepy to me and would probably be left behind. Just give everyone chocolate.
Or if you want to get a little fancier, do different types of chocolate and different shapes and do a candy buffet with tropical stuff. Dried pineapple, seashell chocolates, salt water taffy in different flavors, Etc.
