We're getting married in New Orleans and I have no idea what to do for favors. My fiance and his family are from the northeast, so I would really like something that says "New Orleans" without being totally cheesy. Maybe some sort of personalized Mardi Gras beads? Or the bakery that is making my cake has fluer de lis chocolates? Any other suggestions?

I would pass on the beads.... they have non-classy associations to many people. I liked the chocolates idea, or any other food item that's native to the area.
