I don't think you have to unless you want to. The candy bar is plenty.

I have a candy buffet business and most of my brides let the candy buffet double as their dessert enhancement and their favor. It works really well. No need for an additional favor.

I think it is the favor. We may be doing it and that will be their favors. No need to go overboard :)

Place a plate of cookies or a jar of nuts and chex mix. I wouldn't fill my bag with candy, but instead crackers or chex mix for a snack later on.

I like the last posters idea, just make sure the candy buffet has a wide enough variety for everyone and you'll be set. You cannot always please everyone, even if you do a more traditional favor so don't stress over it.

When my sister had a candy buffet we put out apples and pretzel sticks for the non-candy eaters.
