I don't think the last song is something you need to plan, personally. That being said, when I was DJing weddings and the couple hadn't picked something specific for the last song, I would play either A. Their first dance song again (assuming both B & G were near the dance floor) B. Billy Joel's "Piano Man" or C. Prince's "Let's Go Crazy" depending on the crowd.

I'm Irish so I'm going to have "Wild Mountain Thyme" by Tommy Makem and the Clancy Brothers. I've been to weddings where cultural/regional songs are a big hit for the last hurrah- my cousin in Kentucky ended his wedding with some southern rock ballad that everyone knew and started to cry over (I didn't know it...I'm from the north....but everyone else loved it!)

We did a sing-along. That's always a crowd pleaser. You could do "Sweet Caroline" or "Dirty Water".

We're probably going with "One Last Drink" by Enter the Haggis. Our friends know the lyrics and even the ones who don't, enjoy the song. It's a fast-paced celtic rock song, a lot of fun.
