My father has not been around since I was 2 years old. I plan on asking my Father in law to dance as a surprise that day. (We are already married and will be having our reception this summer) I know he will love it. We've talked to my mother in law and she's very excited as they do not have a daughter to give that honor to him. I look at my father in law as my own father but can not think of a song for the life of me. I am looking for a country song but am open to anything now. Thank you in advance for your help!

I loved her first by heartland (don't know if this will work because he is your FIL)

I wish by Rascal Flatts. My sister used this as her father daughter dance at her wedding.

My little girl by Tim McGraw.

Just a few suggestions but these were the first country ones that came to mind.

Hey,
Are you looking for a very senitmental song? If not, just pick one that makes you happy... maybe one from your FIL's generation. Just food for thought... but not every special moment needs a tear! ;)
