Ok so FI & I are having trouble finding a song. He hates the song I really wanted by Edwin McCain. Now i just don't seem to like another as much. FI likes country and I wouldn't mind doing that For our first dance. But we will do other music too. Especially acoustic. Any suggestions?? I also really would like to find a duet!

I am even considering the band perry- love all your life. I think that's what it's called. But i don't know if that's appropriate because it's more from the girls point of view. Opinions please! Thanks :)

Hmm well for country, the first one that jumps to mind is "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts. A beautiful song, if not done a lot.

You mentioned acoustic. A song we thought about doing for our first dance is the acoustic version of Snow Patrol's "Chasing cars." It's gorgeous, and I like it more than the original version.

We are doing "My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw..it's pretty perfect for us. I always get teary eyed when I hear and think of my FI. =)

He and Faith Hill do a duet, althought the name of the song is escaping me right now.

The Tim McGraw & Faith Hill duet (they have a couple) is probably "It's Your Love"... "Just to hear you say that you love me" is good also by those two.

Also -- I thought of these...
