Hi Ladies,
I'm new to the board since I just recently got engaged (yayy!). We had much trouble settling on a venue, but have decided on the Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station and I would LOVE any recommendations for florists in the area. There are so many to choose from and great floral arrangements are important to me :)
Also - if you have gotten married there and loved a photographer and DJ, your recommendations are welcome!

Congratulations on the engagement!
You're more likely to get some help if you visit the local forum board for your area. This is an international board and is viewed by people all over the place, so the chances of finding the info you're looking for are slim.

Im a Boston girl getting married in CT. Congrats on your engagement and welcome aboard!
Here's my 2 cents for you:
Flowers: Just for you Floral design and Stylish Blooms. Both Jane and Melissa are wonderful people.
DJ: the CT knotties will tell you DJ Melee is the best but he books up quickly since he is rather inexpensive and is good to work with.
For photography I am using TimeFrozen Photography, they are a husband and wife team and made our engagement photos look like a storybook romance.
Depending on your budget and tastes these folks may or may not work for you but they are a good start. Be sure to come over to the CT board when you can. Best of luck and happy planning!
