 Hola! My fiance and I are getting married in Mexico and need to plan something cute and chic for the welcome party at the resort for when guests arrive.

I was thinking about doing a welcome pool party (that way we can utilize the resort resources and guests can enjoy the pool and margaritas from the swim-up bar ... but then I thought... *gasp* "What about all the screaming kids and drunk spring breakers who will be there splashing about??" Not cute.

Any other ideas?? (Would love to have to not travel off the resort for this.)

 Some resorts have adults-only pools, which might be something to look into. You could also see if there is a group discount in the resort spa. One final idea would be to rent out a conference room (most resorts have these types of facilities) or something similar and have the margaritas there.

 Contact the resort and see if they can organize a private beach BBQ for you or a private party in one of their restaurants.
