Use any colors you want. You didn't have to be matchy matchy.

H didn't wear his uniform but we used navy and pink as our colors. The guys wore gray tuxes.

Hike got to it before me... I think Blue and Pink is ADORABLE.

I don't like Orange.. but Navy and Orange is also a pretty popular combo.

Yellow and Navy is awful cute...

The combinations are endless! I wouldn't do Navy and Black... but that is just me...

OP - Are you wearing White, Ivory or any color in your dress (sash? etc).

Personally, I'd start with my favorite color but since it's blue and you already have Navy then I'd move to your next favorite.

Our prom was more like a gala. It was the 4 private schools in the area, since they were each too small to host their own, and it was both juniors and seniors and their dates (again, because each class was too small to justify their own) so basically the whole school went. I went all 4 years. I don't have a clue what the colors were or any sort of theme - I just remember having fun with friends. I never had a 'date', always just friends, and I was really happy with that!

My prom was held in the National Guard Armory because thanks to the classes before no hotel in the area would rent space to our high school. I could not even tell you what our theme was. The colors were black and gold (school colors) and the hit song on the radio was "The Sign" from Ace of Base. Yeah it was that long ago. :)

My class officers wanted the theme song to our prom to be "I'll Be Watching You" by the Police until some of us pointed out that the song is about stalking.

This is why I hung out with people from my high school as little as possible. They were always more concerned with appearances than substance.

We had Stairway to Heaven as my Senior prom theme, I think the colors were blue and silver. Now, there's a song that should be used as a theme for good Catholic students---heroin!

I love the sound of the song and almost all the lyrics. It's beautifully written and sung. And I get how it can be slightly twisted into "love at first sight" which is sweet for an anniversary song or something like that. I just have a hard time not hearing it as "creepy stalker who watches a girl and loves her and thinks forever isn't long enough without ever meeting her, and saying he could never be close enough to her so he wants to skin the girl and wear her hide around" thing that I tend to interpret it as saying. Cuz that's what I visualize whenever I hear it!

Marry Me was our wedding song. Whoops. Lol. We decided o. Ut long before it even became mainstream, and now I get annoyed that its played on the radio.all the time!

Also, H used to sing Hey There Delilah to me all the time. He was in NY and I was in the west coast, so it kinda did fit us nicely. I remember our prom song, I don't even think we had one!

I only went to FI's prom. I transferred my junior year and didn't have many friends at the new school. His school's theme was Hollywood. That was before I started tanning and was actually against it and I was the palest girl there bahahahaha

This is how I look in all of my pictures with friends from his school haha. Just gotta laugh :P

My senior prom - colors were purple, silver and irradescent (all dances that year had irredescent as a color, I have no idea why) and our song/theme was the Heaven is a Place on Earth. (Winter formal was blue, silver and irredescent and the song was the Time of my Life song from Dirty Dancing - I swear I graduated in '01! Really!!)

Haha yeah I used to be so against tanning but then my cousin's said their dermatologist told them to tan for their acne and has told people with eczema to do it. It has actually really helped my eczema if I go a couple times a week. SamiJoe suggested it for my depression too.
