We are going to experience our first small town parade on Saturday. We went into town last weekend and went to the visitors center. The lady told us they are having a mardi gras parade, pet parade, vendors, food trucks, and a chili cook off. She explained that if we've never seen a small town parade that this will be the stereotypical one so I'm so excited to go!

I'm sitting in the airport at the moment. I went to see DH where he was training before they officially ship out for deployment. I'll probably spend my weekend recuperating. The weather down south hit my sinuses hard and I'm feeling pretty crappy. I did get my tattoo waiver approved this week so we're contracting for my MC application next Friday.

If they'll give me the chance I'll prove I'm management material AND Marine material.

We have our introductory session with the personal trainer (that we got free for signing up for a new gym - that has a pool, yay!), then we're going to see another possible reception venue. FI is pretty excited about this one and I admit, I am too.

Sunday he'll probably be studying for midterms. He's going to school for radiography. Hooray Post-9/11 GI Bill! I'll probably be drinking wine and mourning the loss of football.

Hi! I'm working today, but I can't complaing because it's from home and soooo much easier than when I did this job in WA. And I only work 1 day a week right now which is nothing.

I have no big plans for today. I have to attempt to put our IKEA desk back together that the movers took apart. I found the instructions for it online so hopefully I can figure it out. Freaking IKEA though and their 8 million parts. I really miss having a printer though, and it's killing me to see so many awesome coupons that I can't print.

And my parents will be here on Sunday!!! I can't wait!

I will be driving to Alabama to meet up with my parents for the weekend. It's weird, driving so far for a day, but it's for my daughter and she's so excited. Although that could just be for indoor pool at the hotel so she can go swimming with "grappa".

FI has a surprise for me tonight - I don't know what it is, but it can't be that expensive! He's broke as a joke. I'm really excited that he's planned something special, though. He said it might have to be postponed, I don't know why, but if it is then we'll just go to the free wine tasting around the corner from our house that the local wine store has every Friday night. It's a nice way to end the week - relaxing with our neighbors and drinking wine. It's become like the neighborhood hangout.

Other than that, not a clue what I'm doing this weekend!

Hey guys! There is some ceremony thing going on for H tonight at his school. Something about the Senior dental students presenting the Freshman. IDK... anyway, H's brothers are all down for the weekend, so I am not really sure what will be going on, but I need to try and sneak away at some point to buy H an anniversary gift, and to visit my mom.

Nothing really on the agenda here, I am doing a bit of shopping on Saturday and then the normal house work on Sunday. That's really about it on my end. I'm hoping to go and get some fabric and make curtains for our bedroom that I've been wanting to make, as well as two pillows but that's really it. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I'm letting FI drag me to see Star Wars in 3D tonight. At least I'll get to eat popcorn. (I'm obsessed)

Tomorrow is my ring bearer's birthday party. :) Sunday I am planning a girl's day! My MOH and friend are planning to actually help me with what I have left! I'm so excited for this! <3 So we're going over what I have left to do for the wedding and then we're going to see The Woman in Black. I freakin can't wait!

Monday I have off but I don't know what I want to do yet. FI starts his new job so boo. And on top of that he doesn't know if they will make him work on v-day or not. I'm so mad about that. I totally thought we would have an afternoon/night together.

Happy Friday ladies :)

My weekend technically started yesterday! We saw Dia Frampton, Justin Moore, and Blake Shelton in concert last night. Miranda Lambert made an appearance. It was amazing! Great concert.

This morning my mom and I did a bunch of wedding stuff and secured the tents and chairs and popcorn machine and speakers. Plus spent a bunch of money on other little things. I'm thinking about creating the RSVP postcards now. Tonight FI says he's going to drink, so I may go over and join him.

Tomorrow and Sunday are pretty open but I'll try and get some more wedding stuff done!
