 How this town doesn't have a Starbucks! Come on. I guess it's different coming from a place where this is one on every corner but still....

I also don't get some of the stories I find on the knot. I feel like they MUST be made up.

 I'm with GG on spouses that cheat.
I also don't get how some people can't follow basic etiquette or decency. FI and I are in a WP for a couple in September. I told her to do a wedding website because they were gonna put their registries and hotels and whatnot on the invite. She posted the link and under honeymoon this is what it says "Florida BABY!!!   Fly down and back visit beaches and several amusement parks to engage in peeing our pants due to laughter." Like WTF who says that?!

 I also don't get drama with bridesmaids. I don't understand it. At. All. Adults get married so I would assume there would be no problem with bridesmaids.

 Hike with you on the bridesmaid drama. I don't get how you can't be mature. It boggles my mind.

I also dont know about these brides that complain about their bm not helping. I don't know if the bride is ridiculously demanding or if her friends don't care. All of the weddings I've been in, majority of bm's helped with some things.

Well the first one had her boyfriend send me a really nasty fb msg while he was deployed saying I was an ungrateful brat and blah blah blah. I'm never there for his gf anymore...everything he accused me of  was stuff I talked to his gf about. I told her I hoped we could still be friends when bf was home because it was getting harder to get ahold of her and see her, I was already doubting the friendship. Then I got that msg and I was done. Then other bm wouldn't stop texting FI and that's just not a real friend. She had too many issues. Just wanted to explain it and I understand you may still not agree with me

 I don't get vague-booking.  Either tell us your problem or STFU about it.

People who delete Facebook posts that they simply disagree with.  Not because it's vulgar or gives away private information or anything, simply because they like to be surrounded by 'yes men'.

Monday morning quarterbacks.  About anything.  The Super Bowl has millions of Monday morning quarterbacks - Tom Brady's wife Gisele should STFU because she needs to respect her husband's coworkers and not feed the media trolls.  All the critics who are whining about how the game was played need to give it a shot themselves at throwing some pigskin under 1000 lights and 5 million viewers.  And anyone who whines about Madonna being 'too old' needs to do cartwheels in heels on bleachers.  Most especially if Madonna was selling hit albums before they were born.

Me either. Part of the reason we don't go home for our entire breaks is because he can only take his mom (and sister sometimes) in small doses. I got out of seeing her when we were home 2 weeks ago. Score! haha

I also don't get people putting a million and one pictures up of themselves

 Ty- Sometimes there are some over the top posts. One girl wanted people to gamble at her wedding and she got to take home all the money they gambled with. One girl invited too many people and asked her friends to sit on the floor of the church.

I just don't believe that crap. I'm sure it's real but I don't get it.

I am having problems with my BMs. I am not demanding or a bridezilla. I just wish they would be happy and help even a little bit. Give their ideas or input. Or encourage us to do wedding crafts or whatnot.

But my MOH and my closest BM were upset that FI and I were even talking about marriage before we were engaged. It was one balls-out night when we argued until 4am. I really can't understand why they felt the way they did when NO ONE else felt like them. Both of our parents were ecstatic and our famillies were so pleased...but not these two girls!
Now they have accepted the idea and digested the info. They said they will help and be supportive but they haven't been.

 Zims- I guess my whole thing about "kicking out" BMs is that I was really good friends with my BMs. Like, they are part of my life in a huge way. I'm confident in the fact that these people wouldn't have their boyfriends e-mail me and be a bitch or whatever.  As far as BM issues go - I think it really just boils down to certain issues and where the persons involved are at in their life. Some people are just realizing who really are their friends and others don't find out until after. It's a personal thing - now being mature about it doesn't mean you won't have problems/issues - but starting a cat fight about it isn't mature. Drama is drama - it doesn't matter how mature the bride is or not.

I don't get this weather here - it was gorgeous and 80 and now its in the 60's and freezing.
I don't understand FL drivers either - umm hello you yield to those on the right.
I also don't get why people assume that those who work from home don't technically work. - That's annoying.

Hike - Some Targets around here have them in there. That's weird that their isn't one up your way! There are quite a few here. I hope you find one close soon! I love my starbucks.

Oh that would be so much better than my situation. FI is a mama's boy. She is a super nice lady. I just feel like sometime she does and says things just to piss me off even without breaking her nice-lady face.

 Yes!! It's so cold. LOL. At least I feel that way, I got used to it begin above 70 pretty quickly, so once it hits that 60 mark I'm in jeans and a cardigan. lol.

I also don't understand why people put their financial status on FB - it's more common I've noticed with military wives posting things like "Do I put gas in the car, or do I pay our cell phone bill" or "Only enough money to buy bread for the week, looks like we're just going to have to eat peanut butter and jelly" But the kicker that I don't get is that only 1 of them works - if things are that tough, I don't care who you are - they should get a job as well, even if it's part time it would help. Just don't understand why... but I probably never will. It isn't my place to judge them, but I just don't understand why they complain about living pay check to pay check and then not work themselves.

 But it's not their job to encourage you to do wedding crafts. You can tell them you are doing them and heck even ask them if they want to help, but they don't have to. I don't get how they not being happy equals a problem.
I guess the friendship comes first. If they don't want to help or say some things, I would talk to them about things, and not relate it to the wedding.

And ditto Hike, I can't imagine my closest friends starting drama. I've been in weddings with them, with no drama. If they were irritated by something, we didn't start fights with the bride. We let it go, especially if it's something minor.

I don't get the difference between Coffee shops/brands. I know it's because I don't drink the stuff, never have probably never well since I'm always hyper. I also find it hilarious when H drinks coffee because it's mostly creamer with a shot of coffee lol.

60 is freezing for me too! I dress like I'm going to the snow in that temperature.
But I do live in California. haha

I have never seen people complain like that on FB but that would be very annoying. Especially if only one of them worked.
If you don't have money for gas, don't be driving the car especially if you're not working!

I definitely asked the first one too soon and thought the 2nd one was different. I never thought she would've ended up like that and the way she acted towards the end besides texting FI really started to bother me. I was willing to be done with the friendship and knew it would happen by kicking them out. I regret asking both of them and wish I would've given it more thought

 Ty: When I was in Cali I was in flip flops year round. It gets chilly sometimes but I'm still in "warm" weather clothing. 

I also don't get BM drama, I didn't have any except with my sister/MOH but that was mostly because she was pregnant and bitchy at the time. lol I understand that I barely had help from anyone because they were all far away from me. They are my friends and we never have any drama and they are all happy for me.

I get that but I promise it does taste different. On my way to work, there was a Starbucks and a Caribou. When S had a long time, I'd go to C. C just didn't taste the same. I do put 2 pumpes of vanilla in my coffee so I think their flavoring was different. I didn't like C's as much.

I don't drink coffee either but I love tea! I used to be a Starbucks whore, but I drink tea at home now and would only go on occasion. Also, I just saw the cruise pics on FB, looks like fun! I'll ask you more about it if H and I end up planning a cruise. Wink
