- Is 1.5 months too short a time to invite people even if they mostly live close?

-To save money and time, is it ok for me to just ask people to rsvp by email and not include rsvp cards and envelopes?

I think 1.5 months is enough time if most people live close but I wouldn't let it go much shorter than that.

RSVPs by phone are email are fine. I've actually never been invited to a shower that included RSVP cards. No need to spend all that money on postage if you don't have to!
