So, I've read the FAQ section and have found out the meaning of commonly used abbreviations, but there are so many used in these boards that are not listed. Sometimes I feel like I'm reading another language when trying to decipher posts.

Somebody please tell me what AW is before I go crazy!! WR is "wedding related", yes?

Then there's DH. I gather that "H" is husband, but that leaves be more baffled about a DH. There's probably way more that I can't think of right now, so if you'd like to enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.

Something completely unrelated: who can recommended a delicious red wine? I really prefer sweet wines and unfortunately I'm in the beginning stages of learning all there is to know. I should do a winery tour/tasting.

Oh wow. I'm not sure I would have ever been able to figure those out on my own. Thanks!

DD can also be dirty delete, like when you go back and delete your OP because you didn't like the responses other posters give.

I hate red wine.  Drink some Cupcake Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio.

Thanks! Yeah, I haven't really found a red wine that I actually like. Anything with cupcake in it sounds wonderful.
