I have been slacking on abs, saying I'm going to do them and then I don't. I also didn't do my dvd yesterday, but still made it down to the workout room. So that means I have to be good the next three days.

Not sure what I'm going to do today. I think I'll wait until lunch and see what my body says.

What does everyone else have planned for today?

I got in late last night because I went to see the Arizona Ballet (amazing!) so I slept in this morning. I might try to go for a run after work, or do Insanity. We have a lot of parties to go to this weekend (one going away and two birthdays) so I definitely want to do SOMETHING. I have a 5k race tomorrow.

I have always wanted to go see a ballet. I've never been into dancing, but whenever I see it in movies, it's just amazing what they can do with their bodies. Maybe some day.

I did like 20 minutes of a yoga dvd last night. I discovered a new muscle on my leg! lol

It still blows my mind that standing around in odd positions and breathing can burn soooo much. I love yoga.

I'm going to force myself to do 30DS.  

I haven't done it in a few days.  On Wednesday, I took the stairs instead of the escalator at the WTC path station (it's literally a million steps) & I think I seriously pulled something in my ass.  I am in SO much pain it's ridiculous.

And it makes you uber flexible too! I just don't really like the crane pose where you have to put your knees on your elbows and sit upside down on your hands with your face inches from the ground. I have weak wrists and I fear smashing my face.

I did 30DS last night, took a hot bath, and then slipped coming out of the tub.  so I have a big bruise on my leg and it's a little swollen.  I still plan on doing my 2-mi walk and something after work (ETA as long as I'm not in too much pain...  right now it's not that bad) because I was down 1.2 lbs today... FINALLY.  maybe yesterday was a bad weigh-in.  anyway, I'm almost ready for Level 2.  I'm slow, but I want to make sure I have good form and I can complete Level 1 before I move on.  I've done something everyday (a 2-mi walk plus 30DS) this week, so I'm happy with that!

H and I are taking my mom out tonight to an Italian place, so we decided to split a salad and meal.  we're both trying to get to our goal weight.  hopefully that'll help keep me from splurging too much.  the rest of the weekend I plan to cook.  crossing my fingers for a good weigh-in on Monday.

Ouch! That sounds like it would hurt. Hopefully it won't be too much trouble today.

Good job on the 1.2 loss! : ) And good luck at the restaurant. You can always bring gum and pop it in when you decide you're done eating too, lol. That way you can't nibble on anything. I am horrible at saying no to free breadsticks.

Haha, oh I see. Sounds like my FI too. He can eat a ton of food. I don't know where it all goes. The only problem with him is that he eats incredibly slow, so I have the opportunity to eat more. This also makes me want to go back for seconds when I cook dinner because he's still eating, lol.

I opted out of yoga last night to do Cardio X.  I just couldn't commit an hour and a half to it.  The Apple Pie Pork chops turned out great, had them with pickled beets that FMIL made.  Tonight is legs and back and ab ripper.  But I'm excited for tomorrow, instead of Kenpo we're going to do stand up paddle boarding (What is SUP?) in Laguna Beach for 2 hours.  I just hope the waves aren't too big.  To top things off Danish Man has informed me we get to have sushi tonight, tomorrow night and Tuesday night for V-day!

Oh my! That does look like quite the workout. It looks like lots of fun though too! I think I'd be in the water more than on the board though. I'm not very coordinated, lol.

Applie pie pork chops sound delicious. We had pork chops last night too. FI had stuffed, I had regular, but still good. Not as interesting as yours though, lol.

I've decided that I don't like regular P90x abs or regular Insanity abs, just for a few moves, so now I'm just going to skip the moves I hate (scissors, tuck jumps, the last one in P90x) and just combine the two workouts with the moves that I do like, lol. Still feel the burn, but not as torturous, lol.
