I just got the call that I'm hired to work as a kindergarten teacher at an elementary afterschool program!! The job is only part time (21 hours per week) so I'm going to need something else but I'm SO excited to have a real job with a steady income AND I'll be getting teaching experience. :)

I have a 2nd interview at Panera (lol) on Monday, if I get that I think it would be a good morning job to cover the rest of my expenses.

Thanks everyone for your help over the past few weeks with my rants and job questions

And if the stormy weather came...I'd just kiss you in the rain...

Yeah, I'm really hoping the Panera thing works out I feel like that would be the ideal situation right now.

I'm really not sure about next school year because as far as I can tell there's only one (maybe 2) music teachers per school. Best case scenario I think would be that I would get "in" with the district and if a music position opened up somewhere they'd know me when I jumped on it. I also wanted this more than some of the admin positions I appllied for because I'd be able to get real teaching experience.

And if the stormy weather came...I'd just kiss you in the rain...
