My friend is turning 26 on 3/13, apparently it is my job to get together w/her bf and plan some sort of festivities but he isn't exactly full of ideas. We have a bday tradition of going to a bar that serves free wings in the amount of your new age so that's a must but aside from that I'm just not feeling inspired.
Last year I spent the day with her at an aquarium, then went shopping at the mall and finally met up at the bar with friends and went bar hopping for the rest of the night. It was fun but I don't really want to do the same thing, especially since this year she isn't single so I get the feeling that girls only time isn't wanted or necessary.
What were some of your best birthday celebrations? Perhaps fun stories can inspire me. :-)
