I really love Saturdays. You can sleep late, stay up late, it's just the best day of the whole week IMO.
I'm about to make myself breakfast then it'll probably be time to shower & get ready. Devils game today at 1. And maybe out for some drinks tonight to celebrate my bonus with FI :)

I was angry about being woken up at 7am by the guy swinging a freaking hammer across the street. But then glad, because I then ordered my Diamond Candle. At a more appropriate time of the day I would have been more likely to talk myself out of it. But lack of sleep helped there and I purchased at $25 candle. The ring better be freaking awesome. lol

Especially when they start with surprise 'wake up in the middle of the night' sexytime at 2am. Hellz yeah.
I'm running a 5k race at 2pm. It's such a weird time... I don't know what to eat for lunch.
I overuse ellipses...

FI dragged me out of bed to play Just Dance with him but we were interrupted a minute into our first song, because, somehow, I banged my hand into the corner of our ottoman (which had been placed on the couch to make more dancing room) and that impact caused me to break off half a fingernail. Hurt like a sonofabitch. I won't go into more detail.
Anyway, that ended our dancing for the day. FI blamed himself for putting the ottoman on the couch, and, I didn't say it, but I blame him too. Of course, out loud, I said it was just an accident. He feels like shiit because of it, so I won't make him feel worse. So now we are watching anime until he has to go to work.
Saturday is off to a great freakin start.

I'm working, like I do most Saturdays. Sunday is my Saturday. :)
Today is a game day, and my garage is right by the basketball arena, and the bastards wouldn't let me park this morning. I had to park across campus and walk. Which took longer than normal b/c I'm all pregnant and shiz now. So I was late to work. Oops.
Cafe opens in 20 mins, and I'm for sure getting a coffee, and maybe a bagel with cream cheese. I had an egg and toast for breakfast about 2 hours ago and I'm starting to feel peckish already.

I'm still in bed. FI is sleeping. I'm about to go make oatmeal and scrambled eggs. Today will be spent doing homework, applying for jobs and looking for internships, and some cleaning.

Thanks! I'm most excited for the two free post-race beers that we get. :) And the fact that it's 75 degrees and sunny out.

I'm spending most of the day today doing laundry and packing for my trip. I've already got my tickets printed out (woo!) and went ahead and paid for my checked luggage to save time and hassle in the morning. My flight is leaving out a good bit later than the ones I normally take, so hopefully traffic won't be a bitch in the morning.
Right now, I'm waiting for a friend of mine to come over for lunch to take a break from all my packing and running around.

I like Saturdays.
I am just so glad I don't have to do anything today. I cuddled with FI in bed for an hour. Cleaned a part of my room. Now I have been working on homework which I do will until I make bread later and go to church. <3 It's a nice day.

BF and I went and got paint for our bathroom. We decided to go with a dark grey blue with a super light almost grey blue sponge effect over top. When we ripped down the paneling that was in the bathroom and tore out the shower, we discovered whoever built the bathroom just used chip board and it's all full of mould and stuff. So now we have to re-drywall the bathroom, which wasn't something we were anticipating. Fortunately everything else is under budget so far. And hopefully we won't run into any more surprises.
