We're often asked by people why do love the person we do? What is it that makes that person "the one"?

I've found that the most difficult question to answer because, for me, there isn't one quality that stands out about you.  But, the answer is a simple one.  It's because you're R.

Every part of who you are comes together to make you the most amazing person that I have met.  And every day I feel so blessed not only to have you in my life, but by my side.

From the very beginning of our relationship we would try to come up with words to describe what we were experiencing. There were too many to count but we found that there were no words to describe what we truly felt except maybe the most obvious one.  Love.  Our love made us redefine what we knew before we became us.  It is so clear to me now that what we have is love in it's purest form and somehow I've been given the gift of knowing that in my lifetime.  Thank you for teaching me that.

You have been the most loving, kind, patient man I have ever met.  I can't imagine a better match for me, nor could I have dreamed one up.  You see me and love who I am.  You encourage me, and hold my hand when I need it.  You have made me stronger and more open than I have ever been.  You are everything I could ever ask for and more.  I know that without a doubt, you are what I have been waiting for and now that we are together, I feel complete.

I've joked that you need to come clean and just tell me what planet you came from, or that you need to stop sprinkling yourself with magic fairy dust because I was too far under your spell.  But, honestly, I don't care what planet you come from and you can go ahead and keep passing around the dust. Because I'm where I want to be.  I'm living in the moment with you.  I promise to strive to be for you what you are to me for the rest of our days.  I am overjoyed to be your wife.  I love you.

Thanks for your thoughts!!!

I think you have a wonderful start!  I might recommend that you trim the "gushing" a little bit.  4.5 paragraphs of gushing seems to be more than enough, and maybe you can save some of it for a private letter you write him before the ceremony.  I would then add more to the actual vows.  This is your chance to state what you promise to give, and how you will cherish your marriage, and how you will be in your life together.  I think your one vow is wonderful, and if you added a little more, you'd have a nice set of promises.

I agree with PP focus a little more on what you are promising to him. Good start though, I like the personal touches you added
