I told bosslady and she summoned the higher-level security peeps--so right this instant there is a meeting w/ the instructor who saw the dude and the dean and the chief.
I'm staying where I have backup today. I may close this room early though, since between 5 and 6, I only have one scrawny kid up here w/ me, and the campus gets pretty deserted.

I have pepper spray...tasers aren't allowed in my state (one of the toughest anti-taser laws in the country, last I knew) *technically*, I'm not allowed to carry a weapon on campus-- even the pepper spray. But everyone turns a blind eye to pepper spray.
i will say, we're understaffed all over campus today (there's training for 1/2 of public safety and people are out w/ flu) and the time from when I called for security and when they arrived was less than 4 minutes--that's not really to bad. Not that someone couldn't murder me in under 3:50, but, it's not to bad, all things considered.
I will get an escourt when I leave the building.

Huh. The funniest part is the people who need tasers don't have them, and the others have real weapons. BRILLIANT>

I rather don't want lots of access to guns on campus--not here. We have to many weird tensions here.
But, yeah, I'd get a taser.
At least our security are *real* cops...w/ guns and tasers. They didn't send over a rent-a-cop-flunkie this morning, they sent over sargents with guns.

Student worker doesn't know this creeper outside of him being a 'client' here--not a friend or even someone who has class with her. She had already been working at shutting him down and had decided he was creepy.
I don't know of any history of issues--his teacher says he's always been decent and polite in class--but his teacher is also male, retired military. (I'm fairly sure part of today's issues deal w/ the fact that this guy doesn't take direction/correction from lowly female types. yay misoginy. )
