Why is Groupon getting dragged into it? Maybe she made the Groupon purchase using a Visa card! Better blame Visa, too.

That is worse association than "the Craigslist murderer." Guess what, stranger sex is dangerous no matter where you make the hook-up.

I think I only heard it associated clearly w/ Groupon because there was some chatter that the company overstreatched to fulfil groupon orders and was ignoring safety protocol and some chatter about how did people get their $ back if they didn't want to use their groupon.

But, yeah, not really groupon's fault.

(and I do suppose it's a reminder not to aways go w/ the lowest bidder?)
