Bridesmaid dress colors to complement a blush dress?

I bought a great blush dress which really compliments my really pale skin.  However, I feel like this precludes me from getting the pink bridesmaid dresses I had originally planned on.  My fiance recommends black dresses, but I feel like they would be too harsh against my dress.  What colors do you recommend in bridesmaid dresses to go with my blush dress?

I think you could definitely still go with a pink BM dress.  I would pick a pink that is more pronounced rather then something pale.

As for other colors, I think you really could go with anything.  Black wouldn't be too harsh because many brides who wear white or off white dresses have their BMs wear black.  You could also pick any color that is within the pastel color schemes if you want to keep the overall softness.

What other colors are you using in your wedding?

I think it depends on the feel you want for your wedding.

I actually think black would be my first choice. I think the two would look really awesome together. Modern, chic, elegant.
Gold would be my seond choice. Elegant but fun and flirty.
I think any pastels would look great too, like a sherbert shade of any color. Soft and roamntic.

I do agree, though, that I don't think I would want to go with pink. There isn't anything wrong with it, just not my personal preference.

I'd probably double down on the pink and go with a hot pink or a rosy pink for the BM dresses.  But I love pink.

Gray would be beautiful with blush pink. I'd go with a softer grey that's light and airy.

You know, if you went with the same color, but several shades darker, that would make for stunning photos.  You could even go with coral BM dresses.

Would depend on your theme... Are you going more traditional or modern? Ombre could be interesting if you have a larger bridal party -- start off with your MOH in a lighter shade and gradually deepen the hue of the dresses with the darkest shade on the last attendant.

Whatever you do, make it fun for you and your BMs!
