I'm having the hardest time finding a wedding band. I'm a size 2.5 and so it's been nearly impossible to find anything. My engagement rignt is a single solitaire diamond on white gold band, and I really wanted my wedding band to have diamonds to go along with it. I had no trouble when we were shopping for engagement rings, but finding a wedding band has become ridiculous. I found one I love at Kay's but they were unable to get it down to the size I need because they no longer purchase from that vendor so the smallest size they could get was 6.75. I really don't want a plain band without any details, it's so not me. I've looked at Kay's, Zale's, and Littman's. Honestly, I've found the selection at all of these stores to be quite unimpressive.

Did anyone else have trouble finding a band in your size an style? I'm getting married April 21st and it's somehow becoming a time crunch to get the band I want in the size I need in time for the wedding.

Im not quite that small, but jareds special ordered my 4.5 ring with diamonds in it because they can't size a ring with diamonds in it that small if it starts too big. They have quite the selection and everything in store is also online, it took like a month for the special order but I would assume they can make it for you. Bonus if u go before day they have some special going on so when you go back for his band u can get 100 off if you spend 300 on his.

Go visit independent jewelers rather than chain stores.  They'll be able to fabricate it for you.  And often you get better value at mom and pops (even though the commercials for the chains imply otherwise).

With that small of a ring size, you'll probably need to go custom.  Many places don't actually charge more for custom than they would if you purchased the ring out of the case.

I know Bluenile.com starts at size 3 for ring sizes, but they do have custom ordering available too.

I agree with MyUserName, an independent jeweler will be able to custom make you a ring that fits your size and what you want and the price should be comparable with other jewelry stores.  Plus you'll be supporting a local business.

I think the independent jewelry stores is a great idea actually. Especially if you can find one that has an artist jeweler (someone who will do custom work... I didn't know the official title). If you have trouble finding one, there's a jeweler in a little town near Columbus, Ohio who does fantastic work. My mom needed an emerald placed in a setting and no one was willing to touch it since it's a soft stone, but this guy designed a whole ring for it and it turned out beautifully. I know it could be quite a drive, but hey, if you get desparate enough, what's a few hours in the car? I think it's called Worthington Jewelers. Good luck finding that perfect wedding band!!!

I agree with PPs - find a small, independent jewler willing to do custom work.  A lot of times, they even give you a better deal than some of those chains - plus, you have the satisfaction of knowing that your ring is truly one of a kind and was made just for you instead of mass produced!

Our jewler took my mother's engagement stone and custom made a setting for it that is completely unique and unlike anything they carry in their shop, or really anything I've seen elsewhere.  Now, they're using my great grandmother's stones and resetting them in an eternity band - everything is done by hand.  I can't wait to wear them both because I know I'll be one of a kind!  They can do pretty much anything you want, so I'm sure making such a small size wouldn't be a problem for a good local independently owned shop.

I agree looking at an independent jewelry store to have one custom made.  I had my band custom made, and it turned out fantastic and was actually cheaper & had more diamonds than the matching band from my ring designer.

My fiance is a size 3 and I purchased her ring from http://www.cobaltchromeforever.com, they had to special order it but it was perfect once I recieved it.  Although her ring does not have diamonds in it you could always ask.
