Worried about my dress....

Bridal portraits were yesterday. Wedding is in less than a month. We went to Historic Oak View county park for the pictures and it was an awesome location for someone who isn't taking their portraits on a terribly hot day haha. I was sweating like a pig which wasn't gorgeous. I forgot to trim the ends of my bouquet off before starting. I got sunless tanner (which I was PROMISED would not under ANY circumstances come off on my dress) asphalt marks, and dirt/grass stains all over my wedding dress. My mom is taking it to the dry cleaners today, but I know it's going to be expensive if they are even able to get everything out. I even brought a white sheet and it just didn't help at all. Cross your fingers that this dress will come clean.

I'm sure it will all come out! I had my portraits last week and got makeup and dirt on my dress. We spot cleaned and everything came out very easily. And I agree on the being hot and not feeling gorgeous thing---it reminded me why I decided to NOT get married in August!

I have full faith it will come out.  My sister decided to use my mother's wedding dress a couple of weeks ago.  When we pulled the dress out of the box, there was make-up and food stains on it from 30 years ago, and the cleaners were able to get it all out.  They even put the cleaning towards the price of the preservation of the dress after the wedding.

I did the majority of my bridal session indoors, terrified of situations like this. You are braver than me! I'll have my fingers crossed for you that it will all work out!!

I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience!  I did mine outdoors too, but I guess I was lucky.I did get sunless tanner on my dress on the wedding day, but I haven't had it cleaned so I can't tell you the results...it will cost me more to have it cleaned than what I paid for the dress so I haven't decided what to do...Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed that yours cleans up nicely!
