knock off wedding dresses?

Ok so I know that I want the Casablanca 1891 dress. However, I can't really afford to hand over $900 and on top of that the alterations. When I stick the name of the dress in the google search engine there are tons of designer imitations for half that price. Has anyone ever used one of these sites to have a dress made?     i'm a fashion designer in nyc who deals with chinese manufacturers on a daily basis and i thought i of all people would get good results from a replicator. i was sadly mistaken! if i were you. i would not even waste my money on it. they tell you that you can return the dress for them to fix it. hah! we spent $250 JUST ON POSTAGE to mail the 6 BM disgusting dresses that they made back to them. as PPs have said, pls try going online to second hand sites or using a reputable domestic bridal shop that has discounted dresses before you resort to this option. you may spend $200 on your replica dress, then another $75 on alterations to fix it here- and even then it may not be the beautful dress you expected.
