Attire dilemma

I am having a "black and ivory" wedding (my dress is ivory) and wanted to use a polka dot accent in my party. if the polka dots were small enough would it matter that it was against an ivory shirt? or is that just gonna look out of place....HELP!!

That could be quite fun, what if you used a black and colored polka dot to add a little bit of color? Maybe pocketsquares for the guys and a sash or ribbon for the bouquets for the gilrls?
