I remember after we put our deposit down, I was jumping around and all like 'OMG we're really doing it!' . It was more so that I was excited about having a set date :)

Fun!! Have you met with them already and decided what you are doing or do you still have a lot to talk through with them?

I have all the info on pricing for the rental and date availability, but we have to make sure they can do our food in our price range (its at a restaurant so the catering is done onsite). They assured me they can work with almost any budget, but I'm anxious to get in there and make sure we can get the food we want at the price we want.

Can't disclose my venue until I have the deposit down. I'm scared I will jinx it. LOL. It's near the airport though. Really nice outdoor ceremony/indoor reception option. I will post about it tomorrow *fingers crossed!*

I wouldn't post the name of my venue until after we looked at it because it was booking up so fast and I was (irrationally) afraid that some BSC lurker would steal the last available Saturday in the fall of 2013.

Yes I know that makes me a little BSC myself, but I really liked the place!

I didn't feel a huge sense of relief after booking it though because we had only been engaged a month and are having a two year engagement. Once we get closer, it will begin to feel more "real."
