Color Trouble

I found the perfect site for my wedding ceremony and reception! It's in a performing arts theatre. The problem is the linen covering for the tables are black. I would like my wedding colors to be red and blue, but I'm afraid it won't look right with black table cloths. I could do black, white, and red for the colors, but I feel like that is so traditional. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Help!

Could you rent or buy your own linens? I don't recommend this if you can make the black work, but if you're really unhappy, then I'd say fit it into your budget.

Or even what about a white overlay? That would tone down the black quite a bit and anything red or blue would be next to the white, not the black.

Do you really need colored table cloths to have a theme. I mean, black is neutral enough that no one would care. Plus, all red and blue table cloths might get too matchy matchy. And let's be honest...there's nothing "less traditional" about red and blue than there is about red, blue and black.
