is that good or bad? ... does that mean, i can't pin anything during working hours, since he'll see it? I dont even know, if he knows it's me... i didnt use my name as my user id on Pinterest...but ra

I would find it weird, but then again, I wouldn't be 'pinning' while at work either.

My boss knows I'm on the internet because he can pull my browser history whenever he wants. He doesn't really care what I do, as long as I get my job done and don't fall behind.
What is your boss like? This could backfire on you if you aren't sure how to read it. Maybe it is a subtle hint he knows you're "pinning" at work? It could be by chance he is following you, but what ARE the chances?

It just depends on your boss. If you're strictly not allowed on the internet, then I wouldn't be pinning while at work, but I feel like that's just common sense.

If you are Facebook friends and he just signed up, they now automatically have you follow all your Facebook friends. It's not like he is stalking you.
Also, it doesn't matter what your user ID is if you signed up through Facebook. Your boards are linked to your Facebook name. I'm pretty sure he will be able to figure out if you are pinning when you are supposed to be working.

The moral of the story is this: get back to work. If you don't do personal stuff on work time, it won't matter whether your boss is following you. Do your pinning on your own time. As someone who spent much of my career supervising others, I can tell you that nothing made me angrier than employees who were doing personal stuff on my time.

The only way facebook can do this is if you log in with your facebook account.
