HI all!
Just wondering if any of you out there are going to be following the Irish tradition of one single braid in your hair tucked in(for luck)?? I'd love to do it .. and it's a family tradition as well for us, but am unsure how to incorporate it into a bridal hairstyle.
I am wearing a tiara (a simply one that matches my dress) and I'm wearing my hair in an up do with my veil pinned in at the back of the up-do... just looking for suggestions,... or pictures?!?!

I'm not familiar with the tradition, but by your description of what you want, I thought this might work. You can ask them to make the bun a little higher so the tiara doesn't look strange.

What about doing a traditional braid with a small briad tucked in? Does it need to be very visible? I bet pintrest has a lot of good ideas.

SCogs18 ... It doesn't matter on the size or visibility of the braid, as long as one is in there somewhere so as to represent the Luck. I will ahve to check Pintrest out.. Everyone is on that lately and i think i'm just chicken to try it out.. LOL
