i lost my mother and my fiance lost both of his parents. we decided that we wanted to do something special for our siblings to honor our deceased parents. for the sisters, we found lockets. we are unable to think of anything for the brothers. we don't want cufflinks, or any type of jewelry, but we would like to have whatever it is engraved or include a picture of our parents on it. we also would like it to be something that is useful for them...any ideas???

Pocket watch? Regular watch? (Sorry if that falls under the jewelry category) Embroidered handkerchief? Lighter? Money clip?

Sorry, it's kind of hard to think of something that strikes the right balance between being useful and sentimental.

My grandmother has a candle holder engraved with her late daughter's name. Something like that or a picture frame that they can have in their house?

A pocket watch with a picture inside would be an awesome idea or engraved somehow. It can then be passed on to their kids as well :)
