Skipping the garter toss?

My fiance and I feel akward about the garter removal. Neither of us likes to have the spotlight on us and the garter removal show is a little too much for us. If we skip the removal should we skip the toss as well? And if we do skip the toss would it be weird to still have the bouquet toss? I'd like to do the bouquet toss for sure, I just need opinions on how to handle the garter removal/toss.

    Definitely skipping the garter toss. Have always thought it was very awkward and also have a fiance who hates attention.

    Thanks everyone for your input! We are skipping the garter toss altogether but still doing the bouquet toss. For all of you that said your doing this or did this... Did you have some kind of a dance after the bouquet toss or did you just go on with the evening. What I'm talking about is the dance that the person that caught the bouquet and the person that caught the garter would have done.
