So i decided I wanted a personal touch for my BM gifts. I'm hoping to make them all matching jewelery (the MOH's will be a tiny bit different)
I just don't want them to look at it and think "I'm not wearing that!" haha and I was hoping they might be able to get future use out of it.
Let me know what you think (I've only made the one set so far so I'm open to feedback)

I think that's something they can use again. I know things don't always photograph right, but it looks like black and silver, maybe some white? It really depends on if they wear jewelry often or not. And for the earrings, if their ears are pierced. I made my girls navy and white pearl necklaces, and told them they can wear them if they want, but they don't have to. My maids are my sisters though, and we inherited a metal allergy from our mom, so no earrings and minimal metal/skin contact.

Not a huge fan of the drastic contrast like that, the black looks pretty harsh.

I agree. Maybe stick to greys & white or do black and grey?

thanks, I used the black because they are wearing black dresses (with some silver and sparkly accents on the waist) and wanted it to match.... perhaps I will have to try again :(

I'm also making my BM's jewelry. My colors are black and red with white accents, so my girls are wearing black strapless dresses with red sashes. I'm making ribbon necklaces with matching bracelets (maybe) and earrings. The necklaces will be black and red pearl beads strung onto black satin ribbon. I want to make one up to see what it looks like, I'm a little worried it may be too bulky if I don't get the right size beads. This is kinda what it will look like:
Only the grey beads will be black and the white beads will be red, the beads will be smaller, and the ribbon will be satin. The bracelet will be the same, and the earrings will be a small black bead, a bigger red bead, and a bigger black bead on an earring hook (it'll be a dangle earring).

I make a lot of jewelry, and I like the contrast of black and white. The necklace I wear the most though is black and silver. OP, I think it'll work great. Or, if you're close with your girls, ask one of them what they think of black and silver jewelry. I guess it depends on how much of a secret you're trying to keep it though.

I think it's pretty and thoughtful. I personally would like them as a gift.

I made jewelry for each of my bridesmaids but instead of doing matching like I planned, I made them something that suites their personality and style. They don't have to wear them thaft day, but just a thanks for being there.
