Hello everyone,
I've been struggling with the programs for our ceremony. We have a larger wedding party, longer ceremony, etc, and I'm only able to fit all the info on an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper folded longways. As I can't find any pre-made programs with that shape, I'm searching for cardstock or resume paper to use instead. Any suggestions on where to find inexpensive (but still quality) paper? Thanks so much!

I did ours the same size you're describing. I made a template in MW and then used cardstock from Michaels. Here's a picture of the mock-up. The orange cardstock is what we're using for the backing, then we're printing everything on ivory paper and in color. Let me know if you need some help with them!

Our programs are above. Our colors were black & white/cream. I found the cardstock package at one of the craft stores, and oval printable labels in the same aisle.
Inside we had resume paper from Office Max in off-white or ivory (don't recall). So the program actually had a separate front and back cover folded in half lengthwise, and 2 pages inside when the resume paper was folded in half and printed on 4 sides. You can do this without the cover, and use some similar oval paper/cardboard labels for the front if you want.
Most of the business supply stores have great paper like vellum, resume paper, etc in various colors. They won't be in bright colors, but will be in business type colors, like pastels, white and off-white.
Good luck.

I agree about layered programs. You can find a template online pretty easily too
