Question about petal runners...

I will probably need two 50ft runners (one for each side of the aisle), and I'd like them to end up about 4-5" wide.  How many petals should I order?  I found some in ivory and chartreu

I will probably need two 50ft runners (one for each side of the aisle), and I'd like them to end up about 4-5" wide.  How many petals should I order?  I found some in ivory and chartreuse, in packs of 2000 petals.  Is one of each enough, 4000 petals total?

I'm looking to do the same thing, do you mind sharing where you found your petals?

It depends on how heavy a coverage you want.  Check out this site for an idea of how many you might need.

My aisle is around 40 feet on each side and I used 7000 petals I think. Mine was 6” wide.

I just did a search on eBay for silk rose petals...there are tons of options, all pretty reasonably priced. :)

i think 4000 should be pretty close to good. start there and just write down where you got them from (which ebay seller, for example) in case you need to order more. mine are 35 feet for each side, 6" and i think i used right around 4000. maybe slightly less. i have been ordering mine as a i go. good luck!
