Does anyone know of a good source for vases for recepion flowers? Our wedding theme is vintagey, and we want something affordable so guests can take home arrangements at the end of the night. Our wedding is in July so I have a little bit of time to get them.

Any ideas will be much appreciated! Thanks!

Mason jars? They are cheap and come in a variety of sizes...plus they go with the vintagey theme!

Dollar store.  Ivy bowls make it super easy to arrange a nice centerpiece.  You can tie raffia or a ribbon or whatever around the neck to match your theme.

We are using $1 cylinder vases from Dollar Tree and will be spraypainting the inside of them with Krylon Looking Glass (it gives a mirrored affect).

I currently have a bunch of wedding vase jars leftover from a wedding this summer. I'm selling them by the dozen for $6 a jar. Shipping is an additional $25 per dozen and I'll ship anywhere in the US. I've got a couple of photos below, feel free to message for more details. Thanks!

I've been hunting for sturdy cut-glass vases at local thrift stores (spending no more than $4 each).  I found a DIY tutorial on painting glass vases and I am going to tie in the mis-matched vases with a matte black spray paint.

You could do the same with a white gloss paint for a milk-glass effect.

I was going to say mason jars as well.  If you want to dress them up a little I have seen some on the boards with lace glued around the outside area (covering the Mason jar signature)... looks really cute or burlap-style twine or ribbon.

I looked at doing mason jars with Lace and Twine wrapped around them, that gives them a little bit of a country look though not sure if thats what you are going for. You could also stain the jars to match your wedding colors.

if you bought wine bottles (the place we make wine they are like $1 a bottle) and then paint the bottles white it would work with your theme I think

I also got cylinder vases from Dollar Tree. They had some vases that were thinner but blue-ish and some tan-nish
