Okay, this isn't exactly DIY, but I trust your judgement and input on making sure things go together. :)
I want something to spruce up our ceremony area, but not something that I have to spend time making (I already have ENOUGH DIY projects!). I was thinking about buying two of these candle screens:
They will NOT have those red candles, I'll be using battery operated tea lights. I'm thinking they could go on either side of the stage (basically in front of the stage, but to the left and right side). Here's how our ceremony will be set up (minus the Christmas wreaths, of course):
I will be lining the aisle with these lanterns:
Will it be weird because these screens are black? If so, I could easily spray paint them white. :) Let me know what you think!

I have (what appears to be) that exact screen with clear glass votives in my home. Bed, bath, and beyond? As soon as we decided on a black and white wedding I pictured it set up behind my cake table.
I think two will look great the way you are picturing it. And I agree that it would look better in white to coordinate with your lanterns.
