Good morning!

(Holy crap, I keep forgetting that it's Friday! I looked at your post title and thought "Wait...it's still Thursday...")

We're leaving for MA tomorrow morning to visit MIL. I'm excited, we haven't seen my ILs since the cruise. MIL wants me to teach her how to knit, so I'm going out today and picking her up some yarn and needles (she's homebound until her knee heals), and then on Sunday H and I are going out to dinner with some friends who live in north MA. I'm hoping we don't hit the incoming snow too hard on our way up Saturday...fingers crossed.

That sounds nice Bay. I'm glad it's Friday. We have a lot to do this weekend. Is it all going to get done? Probably not haha

We have to go to the post office and turn in our passport applications, go to men's wearhouse for FI, and I have my first fitting tomorrow. I also need to go find a big coat because NC finally decided to have winter weather and a jacket isn't cutting it.

I love knitting. It gives me something to do (besides knotting, of course) when I'm watching tv. And it's fun giving people homemade stuff. Both of my SILs loved getting newborn hats at their baby shower.

I feel you on the winter weather, aleigh. I actually FORGOT it was winter with all this 60-70 degree weather we've been having. NC has the wackiest weather.

Nothing exciting for me this weekend. My parents are out of town celebrating their 26th wedding anniv, so I'll be at their house dogsitting and babysitting my 10 yo brother. I'm feeling good this morning because FI had his sleep study last night so I slept uninterrupted all night long. Feels awesome.

Mica, that's when I do it, too. I started it as a relaxation exercise (from anxiety issues), and now it's like second nature to pull out yarn and needles while watching TV.

Morning. I saw H off for his trip this morning so I'll be nervous until I know he's arrived safe and sound. He's thinking about driving straight throguh (15 hours) like he used to do, but I told him he better just find a hotel if he is too tired.

My weekend will kind of suck. Tomorrow is cleaning day and I have to work on Sunday. Yuck.

Morning. Nothing too excited going on this weekend. My dad is coming up here to help H work on the basement. My mom is flying out of DC to Puerto Rico tomorrow morning for the funeral, so I'll see her tonight. I thought about going, but the tickets are expensive, and I think I'd rather grieve alone.

I'm a little miffed with H about the whole thing. When I told him about it and mentioned about me thinking of going, he was really just not supportive of it. I mean, he wouldnt' have gotten mad if I said I was going, but he didn't seem to understand why I wanted to go. I guess since I didn't see my uncle that much, he didn't get it? I don't know. Maybe because I wasn't outwardly weapy yesterday evening he thought I wasn't too upset about it. Either way, he came off cold. I don't think he meant to be. I think he's just an idiot when it comes to emotions sometimes.

And that's all the sadness for my morning post. On the happy front.. I'm thinking of getting one of these dresses for my closet. Which one do you ladies prefer?

Definitely the second one, cfas. There is something weird about the first one's top part, like you should be able to see her boobs since it looks see-through, yet somehow you can't.

Good Morning! I'm so glad it's Friday! Have a safe trip Mica, Bay and Mr Sesh!

This weekend I'll probably start packing. Our utility/storage room is kind of ridiculous and most of the stuff in there we haven't even touched since we moved into our house. It's like all our childhood treasures that we merged together. So we'll have to spend some time going through all that. Once that room is done packing to move will be a piece of cake.

T thinks he found a condo that will serve our purpose perfectly for the next year before we buy a house. So I'm going to look at that Saturday and then we're going to this prep school to try to get Jocelyn enrolled. I'm hoping she can get into this school b/c I wouldn't mind her doing elementary there either. It's priced reasonably for a private school and it's right where we need it to be for dropping off and picking up. I'm not sure what sort of questions they ask at a home interview for a preschooler, but here's to hoping we at least get that far into the process.

That's exciting, Stacks! From what other parents tell me (and what I remember), preschool interviews are just looking to see if the kid is socially appropriate and interactive. Nothing to prepare for, really. They just want to make sure that J will fit in and not terrorize her schoolmates.

She's definitely an outgoing and social kid, I'm sure she'll have no problem. Plus she already has 2 years of preschool under her belt. Saturday is just an information session and tour open house sort of thing. I'm not sure why during all my preschool hunting I didn't even think to look at this place. Especially b/c we were trying to stay in a church setting.

Good morning everyone. Safe trips to all of the travellers - Bay and Mica, I am especially jealous of the two of you because you're going to two of my favorite places!

As for me, I'm having a stress attack because the website I need to use to submit a job application has been down since yesterday. I already uploaded everything to the site, and filled in the 18 piles of forms they requested (it took me like a week) and I'm afraid when it comes back online they're going to be like "whoops! lost all your data! sorry!" and I'm going to have to punch my computer.

Sigh. I feel better for having typed that.

A garlic festival would be my sort of thing. Ever had a garlic pizza? I probably smelled bad for a week but it was so good. It had like huge chunks of garlic all over it. Yum.

I love garlic, Stacks. Garlic pizza is amazing. We go to Bru's Room (do you guys have those up there since they're all OSU'd out?) just to get garlic wings. I'm essited.

No weekend plans. I am in a funk because my grandfather is in the hospital. So today (and yesterday and the day before that) have been no bueno.

Good morning!

I talked about this yesterday, but I'm going to see The Vow with some girlfriends and then for sushi. Tomorrow we're cleaning and I'm doing some shopping while FI goes to the Cavs game.

All the stores are starting to put out their cute spring dresses. I need to pick some up for pre-wedding parties for myself and pre-wedding parties for my friend who is getting married 2 weeks before us.

Cfas- Sorry your husband didn't really get it. Death does weird things to people, especially if they have never really had to deal with it for someone who was close to them. I know I never know what to say and I'm always afraid I sometimes come off as cold.

Bay and Mica- I'm jealous of your knitting skills. I can knit in a straight line (scarves, blankets, etc.) but that is about it. I attempted to make some mittens, but I couldn't get the wrist size right and kept having to take it out and start over.

Stacks-That sounds great! I don't know much about your daughter, but I'm sure she will do great at her "interview"

Morning! Fingers crossed my two problem firms get put to bed today. I don't need to be worried about them this weekend, plus I'm off on Monday. H had wine waiting for me when I got home last night, so that helped.

Morning, travel plans sound like fun, safe travels Bay, Mica, and Mr. Sesh. Cfas, I like #1 but my daughter would love #2. They are both pretty. I was thinking of doing some business suit shopping this weekend. I believe Lord and Taylor are having a big sale. And we have a gift card for BoneFish Grille which is at the same mall.

I got to talk with my niece who had the twins yesterday. All is well, happy and healthy. I am so tempted to make the two hour drive back to my hometown just to hold their little cuteness!
