Yep. STD = Invitation.

ETA: I mean, NO you cannot uninvite them. If you sent a STD then you must send an invitation.

Nope - if you gave them save-the-dates, you've got to invite them.  That comes with the territory when you make the decision to send STDs.

Yep. Invite them to be polite, but they probably will not come if you aren't close anymore. Of course plan for them to come in terms of budgeting/food, but I'm saying don't be surprised if they RSVP no. I know I probably wouldn't go if we hadn't stayed in touch since you left the workplace.

This is exactly why I didn't invite coworkers...plus, I don't associate with any of them outside of the workplace anyway.

I only invited 2 and both are coming with their significant others and I could not be happier. One is the seamstress from the store who I need to stop slacking and call so she can do something on my dress. The other we became like sisters and she has stood by my side the whole time since the car accident on the job and them treating me like dirt. You were close enough to them at one point to send  a STD.

Yes, I would still send them an invitation. It's the right thing to do.

However, if you guys aren't close anymore, it's possible that they will decline. But you should still send the invitation.

You sent them an STD, you must send them an invitation.  Unless one of them has tried to sleep with and/or murder you or your FI, then you have a pass.

Since you sent them a STD, then you must send them an invitation. Maybe they will decline since you're not close anymore.

As PP have mentioned, you sent them a STD so now you need to send them an invite.  If it were me and I was on the other end and I got a STD and not an invite, I would call you thinking it got lost in the mail.  That be an uncomfortable situation for sure!!

They may just decline anyway but it is the right thing to do.

Invite them. They may not show, but you should be prepared for that.

I'm curious as to why you sent STDs to coworkers in the first place. As a note for anyone else who is getting ready to send them, please only send them to your VIPs. It seems lots of people send them to their entire guest list, then they end up hating half the list and don't want to invite them.

They definitely should get an invitation. However, I'm with the pp, they may not show.
