[QUOTE]I used to be a fairly regular poster until I was forced into ending my engagement last fall (LONG, tough story...), but I've come back to lurking in the past month or so as part of my healing journey. I've been reminded about what great advice, camaraderie (sp?), and reminders this board gives, as well as the 'I've got your back even if you don't realize it' vibe there is around here.  I really appreciate the reg's willingness to shoot a big old fat hole in some people's overinflated senses of entitlement, and I appreciate even more those who take that in stride and figure out that listening is better than arguing. Would anyone mind if I started posting again sometimes?  It makes me sad to think of my wedding that isn't going to be now, but I've missed this place.

<div>I'm more of an NEY reg, but I can tell you that hanging around TK helped me move forward two years ago when I broke off my engagement.  I was sad for a little bit while everyone else was planning their weddings, and girls over on NEY were getting proposed to and I didn't have a BF, but it helped me heal too.  Everyone was really supportive of the whole journey.  So, as someone who has been where you are, please stick around.  We'll totally listen to all your crazy dating stories when you decide to get back out there.  (The NEY girls even read a blog I had going for a while regarding my dates and the s-e-x that I was having with thos guys).</div>

Aww, thanks for the vote of confidence.  I really appreciate it.  I'm really not ready to think about dating yet (might be awhile too...), but we had started planning and I really got a lot of good info from the boards.  And some great entertainment.  It's a tough journey, but I'm glad you're  doing well now! Hoping for the same for me.

  • I've been a daily lurker since last July. I'm literally on here everyday but I hardly ever post. I feel like by the time I get to a thread 5 people have already said the same thing I was going to say so I usually don't bother. Recently I've been trying to post more though. I love the dynamic of the ettiquette board and I live for FFF. So thanks to all the regs for months of entertainment!

<div>Go create several fake accounts, talk to yourself on the forums, get ridiculed, and then forget which account is your "hacked one" and tuck your tail between your legs when you get called out for your ridiculous self.</div>

After having lurked and read through all the crudola of the past few days and the whole April Fools debacle, THIS made me snort.

And, my thanks as well to the Regs.  I didn't do any sort of real intro, just bounced into a question I wanted answered, and got all sorts of great advice that was super helpful.
