Okay so I need some advice about shower invites! I work in a small office (12 girls) and plan on inviting everyone I work with to the wedding but was wondering if I should invite them all to the wedd

Okay so I need some advice about shower invites!

I work in a small office (12 girls) and plan on inviting everyone I work with to the wedding but was wondering if I should invite them all to the wedding shower? I don't see   everyone (some I only see every few months) all the time but others I see on a weekly basis. I feel it should be an all or  nothing considering it's a small and tight knit environement. Ideas?

I think of showers as more intimate affairs with close female relatives and friends.  If they fall under that category, invite one, five, all.  You don't need to invite all of them just because you invited one.

It depends on the relationship you have with each woman. Showers, to me, are for your closest friends and family members. So, if you're especially close to one, invite her. I don't think it necessarily has to be all or nothing.

Personally, I think if you can do it, I'd invite all. 12 is not a huge number, and even if you invited 6 of them, that's half. I would wonder why I wasn't important enough to be asked to the shower, especially in a tight-knit environment. People talk and I don't know if it would be worth the drama it could cause to have to explain to people why some were invited to the shower and others were not.

You could also do a small work shower, if you wanted. That way, everyone is invited and you do keep it really casual.
