Vowel renewal?

ETA:  this was moved by the May '11 mod because apparently I was harrassing people.

Our real anniversary is in June and DD's bday is April, so I was thinking about doing something in May since it seems so devoid of celebrations.

    Hmm.  Cash seems so tacky.  We're saving for a house...can I just do a house registry instead?

    How do you like those month stickers that your DD has?  I just ordered them for my FSIL who is due in a couple weeks.  I thought they were super cute but had never seen them before.

    I don't have them but I totally wish I did, FWIW. Particularly because I rely on old Facebook posts and the time stamp on our digital camera to fill out DD's baby book. Wow I suck at this mom thing.

    I think you should do the house registry and then at your vow renewal reception you should have a dollar dance.  I would also sell drink tickets.

    I love them!  I wish I had them when she was born, but since she surprised us, I didn't have time to get them.

    They're a splurge, but adorable.  And they're all the same size, so it's crazy to see how the circle used to take up her entire body, and now it's just on her chest.

    Yeah I thought they were a great idea but didn't know if it was one of those things like yeah fantastic idea in theory but not in reality.  Hopefully she likes it!

    Is there any way to make people know that the dollar dance $ is going towards a house?  Can I give out stickers or something?  This is important.  I don't want them to think that the money is going towards sexing it up on my hm.

    I bet you could get your DJ to make some kind of announcement.  Like its technically a "dollar" dance, but you wont take less than a 20.
