New to this board and could use some motivation and tips!

Hi there everyone,

I'm always on my local board but of as late I have been venturing onto other boards. I thought this board would be great to get into because I could really use some motivations and helpful tips about working out and weight loss tips.

Before April, I was on a roll on the Paleo diet and I shed a good amount of inches around different areas of my body especially my waist. However, I pretty much fell out of the diet wagon and trying to get on it again but it's just been so hard especially with the wedding nearing (almost 4 months away). I have started back on my diet this week and I plan to improving my eating and exercise habits from here on out (even post wedding).

Sorry for the vent...but I feel so much better letting it out :)

  • Hi there, how are you? My name is Karen. What kinds of workouts do you like to do?

[QUOTE]Welcome!  There's a FAQ sticky at the top of the page with lots of suggestions on ways to get started, or re-started.  And jump on the daily accountability threads - those have helped me keep on track. And if you let us know more about you, we can probably give more concrete advice.  How much weight do you want to lose, and is it a realistic amount given your current weight?  Do you track your calories?  What type of exercise do you do?  Just some ideas to get started.

Thank you so much for responding! My weight loss goal is 10lbs which I have done before (I'm 145 now). I do not track my calories since I have been doing the Paleo diet. My biggest battle is my diet because I love soda and junk food. However, I have given junk food and fast food for over a month and have recently given up soda. I do cross-fit exercises but I would really like to start running again because I lost more weight running in the past.

I definitely relate to your concerns! I have started getting back on track with my new business. The all natural products are amazing and have truly changed my life :)
